faq

Where are you based?
I live in Hutto TX, but service all of the Austin area for sessions, and all of texas for weddings.

Do you have a studio?
Yes! My in home studio is located in Hutto!

What type of sessions do you photograph?
I specialize in weddings, maternity, newborns, and families.

I’m no longer booking. minis, seniors, branding sessions, events (baby showers, birthday parties, etc.) at this time.

How far ahead of time should I book my session?

For maternity sessions, the best time to photograph your growing belly is between 30 to 34 weeks. At this stage you are still able to move around without feeling too uncomfortable: the closer you get to meeting your new bundle, the harder it will be.

For newborn sessions it is ideal to book once you know when you are due. If you book only when baby arrives, I most likely won't have any availability.

For family sessions it is ideal to booking 2-4 months in advance, i'm currently booking through the end of 2024 so if you are wanting a fall/winter session, it is best to get on the books ASAP!

For weddings, I strictly book as far as 12 months in advance.  I no longer take weddings that are 12+ months away, as life, packages, and pricing are subject to change.

How long have you been a photographer?

I started my business in August of 2014!

What’s your style?
I have a non-traditional style. It’s a blend of both posed and lifestyle photography. You'll never have to worry about what to do, how to stand or where to look. I'm very hands on and take the lead from beginning to end! Posing and prompts are pretty much engraved into my brain!

When do you schedule sessions?
Outdoor sessions are scheduled Monday-Saturday, 1-2 hours before the sunsets. This is prime time for lighting. The sun is low, soft and has a nice golden glow rather than being too bright and eye squinching.

Studio sessions are scheduled between 10AM-1PM. Newborn sessions are scheduled M-F mornings, 9AM-11AM

What locations do you use?
I have a map on my prep guide that has each location I have used in the Austin area. It includes a variety of locations that include tall grassy fields, rocky creeks, mountain views, elegantly tall trees, downtown skylines, desert vibes. ect.

Do I need to bring any props?

For newborn sessions I have a variety of props, from hand made here in Austin to props from overseas vendors. Each newborn session set up is styled by yours truly!
For maternity and family session I have a client closet full of beautiful gowns available for use! Each gown can fit up to a size 14.
You're always welcome to bring 1-2 special items to your session.

Most outdoor sessions are prop free, unless you specifically book a themed micro session through my booking website.

Can I print my images anywhere?
Yes. All my packages include edited/retouched images + print release. on a online downloadable gallery. I also provide a link to 2 of my favorite printing companies that I use personally.
